Miami County Precincts
Miami County is divided into precincts for election purposes. Each precinct is represented by a Precinct Committeeman who serves as the link between voters and the Republican Party.
What is a Precinct?
A precinct is a geographic area used to organize voting. Each precinct has a designated polling place where registered voters in that area cast their ballots.
Precinct Committeemen
Precinct Committeemen are elected officials who represent their precinct within the Republican Party. They:
- Connect with voters in their neighborhood
- Distribute campaign materials
- Help identify and recruit volunteers
- Get out the vote on Election Day
- Vote on party leadership and platform
